From a young age, I've been captivated by aesthetics. In my youth, I viewed several pieces of art which I didn't have the proper terminology to describe, yet which imbued me with certain vibes- certain ethereal transportive feelings.
It's great that the Internet as a whole also has a fixation on categorizing aesthetics- while I don't agree with every aesthetic's validity or coherence, and it's disappointing to think that aesthetics aren't subject to the same academic rigor as the remainder of art theory, I believe understanding aesthetics and our preoccupation with them is vital to understanding the human psyche in general.

For me personally, having a specific aesthetic for my clothing style or room is a no, I am very basic when it comes to aesthetics, but its a cool concepts for thoose, who have a big interest in specific games, music or TV shows!
