My view on the fnaf timeline pt. 1!!

So… we all know fnaf is a complicated rabbit hole (quite literally) of dead children and British rabbits. But why? And how, and when? And most of all, WHAT ORDER??

Well my friends, there is no simple explanation, and no true explanation. Only one person knows truly what happens, and I’m pretty at sure at this point he doesn’t even know. So here’s my personal view on the more common known part of the timeline.

TW: violence, death

1983

After legal trouble, almost a decade of copycats, copyright, and everything in between, William afton and Henry Emily are ready to start anew. William, working on his newest project which is almost open, and Henry keeping up two other locations of the ever popular fazbear entertainment franchise, based on Williams childhood dreams. 

But William was jealous of Henry. Of his success. Of his ability to bring dreams to life. So, one rainy afternoon, a birthday party was scheduled. And a 3 year old Charlie Emily was invited. the cruel children at fredbears family diner had locked her out, and laughed at her. But this was a lucky day for William. He wanted to get revenge on Henry for what he had done years ago. He had stolen Williams idea for his money-corrupt boss and almost made him go bankrupt. Luckily just in time Henry decided to partner with him. Throwing his favorite of his creations out the window to be replaced by his. He walked up to the child, as she tried to stand on her toes to see through the window of the restaurant. She looked back, and saw her fathers business partner. She was excited as first, until pain struck her stomach. He had stabbed her. She fell to the ground, and William dragged her lifeless body in an alleyway, and left her there. But what William didn’t know, is that Henry had built a security animatronic to protect Charlie. The animatronic, nicknamed the puppet, escaped its box-like prison and exited the restaurant, in order to find Charlie in the pouring rain. After a few minutes, it ended up in the alleyway, broken by the rain. It crawled towards Charlie’s lifeless body and broken down, shielding her from the rain. And somehow, some way, her soul was transported from her body, to the animatronic.

The police came, and Henry was uncontrollably sobbing. His second child, gone. His son, Sammy, was sitting in his car, having no idea what had happened. William comforted Henry, knowing what he had done. Knowing that he had caused all of this. And it felt good.

Later, Henry took the broken puppet to his workshop, but something was different. On the animatronics mangled face, there were tears.

On one fateful day, William finally has the grand opening of his newest project, Circus Baby’s Pizza World. Children crowd the doors, but three children are able to get in early. Michael (Mike), Evan, and Elizabeth afton, having their dad as the owner, are at the front of the entry line for this new animatronic circus wonderland. Elizabeth, Williams youngest child at 5 years old, wanders off in search of Williams genius creation that he had ignored Elizabeth to work on. He had created this project in Elizabeth’s image, yet she wasn’t allowed to even see her. Before the children had gone off to explore, William had told them “do not go near circus baby unattended.” Evan and Michael agreed, but he had to hold back Elizabeth to have an extended talk with her. William told her not to see her, despite him lying to her about making it just for her.

Stubborn and ignorant, Elizabeth ignores his words as he had ignored her while working on his project. “Circus baby”, she was called. A clown with scarlet-orange pigtails, jesters shoes, an ice cream dispenser, and a fancy red outfit. Elizabeth sneaks into her auditorium to find her. A few children run out of the auditorium, playing and laughing. Elizabeth looked back at them, wishing she could have a friend. But it would all change, she thought. Once she met circus baby, they would be best friends. She walked up to the stage, and stares up at her bright blue eyes. She explains to her “new best friend” how her father wouldn’t let her see the clown. The animatronics ice cream dispenser opened, and out came a vanilla ice cream with a cherry on top. Elizabeth saw it as a friendly gesture. But it would be her demise. She reached out for the ice cream, so close to success. But circus baby’s deadly mechanisms had other plans. The animatronics whole torso and faceplates had opened, revealing a giant horrifying claw. It grabbed Elizabeth, and pulled her inside. She shrieked and screamed as her body was shredded to pieces by the built in shredder in circus baby’s torso.

What William hadn’t told his stubborn daughter is that he had designed these animatronics to kill children that came near them. He had done this to acquire a mysterious substance called remnant, that would make him live forever. The location had immediately shut down once his daughter had gone missing. He had been staring at his creation, knowing what had happened. Knowing what he had caused. Knowing it was his fault. He stared at circus baby’s cold, staring eyes. Something was different. They were now green. Just like his ex wife’s. And just like his daughters.

I did it! That took way too long! I’ll make a part 2 eventually, which will probably contain the bite of 83 and it’s aftermath. Thanks for reading!!
