chicken update

apparently the two chickens i got have never been out of the little cramped crate they came in? they've just lived in there their entire lives which is crazy. their legs are abnormally thin and they're both missing random feathers, which i can only assume from pecking each other or stress. i've never had to rehabilitate chickens that have never experienced the outside before, but they're a bit like battery hens which are well documented so i think i can rely on that information.

at the very least i can say they're probably not sick, just unhealthy. though since they're both really weak and pretty aggressive, i don't think it's really safe to be putting them with my other chickens. i guess they'll have to get adjusted to this side of the yard first, they're a bit lost on what to do but they've been exploring a little which is good
