My dear fellows. . . To day I am to state a tale of woe. For I am to open my pantry to no speckled eggs ! ! ! Goodness gracious ! ! ! For I had did eat them and the time in which to replenish them had slipped from right under mine nose . . .
With a hungered heart I set out to the market. There were many an egg there in strange shapes . . . Long green eggs , soft loafs of eggs and even eggs in glass bottles ! ! ! How charming ! ! ! But alas no speckled an egg ! ! ! For shame ! ! !
My brow having had been furrowed I am to ask the clerk “ But for where did the speckled egg leave off too?” To which they claim they had never a visit here.
Disastrous ! ! !
