So Ganthor has three dads...because I like to do things differently. And he's biologically related to all of them due to a process called Polyamorous Fertilization. This is an actual thing IRL but I forget what its called and what I originally called this.
Ganthor is also the first successful result of this process! It's unknown if he was supposed to have a twin or not. I personally don't think he did have a twin that was absorbed in utero.
When Ganthor was born...he was a big kit! Myung needed to stay at the hospital for a few days. Myung being the carrier. And it took the three dads multiple days of arguing to decide who should carry because they all wanted to.
Pregnancy is a big deal in the Trisun Kingdom. Being able to rub the ankles of a pregnant keimon is a huge honor. This is because keimon communities are close-knit and everybody knows eachother on a first name basis.
so naturally mostly everyone wants to be there for the kit and help the incubator during the pregnancy process.
the thing is...Keimon are typically born in groups of two or three. Ganthor's a loner.
As a result, the three dads (Eiyun, Myung, Gyeong) were super protective of him. King Eiyun...has unresolved issues that he kinda gave to Ganthor. Undiagnosed and untreated anxiety.
Eiyun's kind of a dick, often dismissing Ganthor's emotions outright in order to make him stronger or something. Myung is very handsy and huggy, despite being the shortest of the 3. He's guilty of babying Ganthor when he was younger.
Gyeong actually does gentle parenting. He gave Ganthor room to make mistakes and grow from them.
