my diy band patch jacket part 2!!!

firstly go look at the first blog post here!! and now let’s pick up where we left off~

first up i added a patch on the back for nails for breakfast, tacks for snacks, aka probably the best song off a fever you can’t sweat out!

then a little stitch on the sleeve cuff for the album itself. i looove this album so this lil sleeve is one of my fave parts of the whole jacket!

next is a patch for my other fave album, from under the cork tree by fob. i promise i added leaves to the tree branch but i don’t have a pic lol so for now it just looks like lightning lol

i added two lil patches for bring me the horizon and of mice and men~ i wanted to switch up the sizes of the patches a bit so that’s why they’re tiny lol. also i like sempiternal more than that’s the spirit but the umbrella was easier to embroider lol

a patch for one of my fave songs ever, no rain by blind melon. as you can see i’m working on making the jacket more or less symmetrical lol (you can also see the spikes i added on the shoulders a lil better here!)

a polaroid patch for the young veins bc i would die for ryan ross and jon walker

my fave lyric from my fave song from bo burnham. if you haven’t seen inside by now i srsly recommend it so highly

if you saw the last blog post you saw the “bad luck” sleeve, well i had extra space so i added a 173 (my childhood address number) separated by a little star

next up is a little patch for the neighbourhood, the symbols from the i love you album bc it’s my fave of theirs

i added elbow patches from an old flannel shirt! i also added flannel patches to the inside of the collar of the jacket so it peeks out while i’m wearing it but i don’t have pics lol maybe in the next update!

next up, my absolute favorite thing on this whole jacket. i wanted to dedicate part of the jacket to pretty. odd. but didn’t wanna do anything with too much color, and i wanted it to like fit the theme. so i wrote out the album’s tagline in a tattoo-style font, but to tie it into the actual album, i wanted to add flowers, so i did a big traditional style rose~ i loooveee it

and lastly i have a patch for i don’t know how but they found me!! i stitched it on suuuuper crooked lmaoo i need to fix it so don’t pay attention but i like it! (with reference pic so we can tell what it’s supposed to be lol
