went out in gothic lolita last night

I paid way too much for this dress but I couldn't resist. I was a little nervous to go out in public like this but one of my resolutions for 2023 was to put myself out there more. 

My friend and I went downtown to some art galleries and and we found the famous local speakeasy. We had to use a passcode to get in, it was pretty cool and mysterious :)

All the drinks were named after book and movie characters, since the whole theme is a library. It was very cozy and intimate, with a fireplace and books as decoration. I had the Holly Golightly drink, which was super sweet and cute. I loved the raspberry touch.

This was my favorite piece of artwork that I saw at the galleries. It looks like a scene captured on an old film camera, dreamy and bright and distorted.

It was a good night!
