This Wii U making me nostalgically unwise

So I decided to make up a brand new Nintendo Network ID on my Wii U, just to see if anyone was still online on Mario Kart 8. There are a couple, but it seemed to be just a couple nostalgic pros or something, nothing I could ever go up against.

Making this account and seeing all the ghost town remains of some of these services is making me a little nostalgic though. So many once populated spaces, now just dead. There's literally nothing new on Mario Kart TV. Guess I should've messed around more when U had the chance lol. The consequences of being a little inattentive brat of a kid during the peak, I suppose lol
