12/17 review

i only got 4 hours of sleep since i slept at 6 am and i just played league all morning and activated my new phone. then i sat in bed for like 3 hours until i took a shower and got ready to go the mall with my dad to buy cases for our new phones. there wasn't really a good selection, i just went with this hot pink one. then i walked around the mall for 20 minutes just browsing and i walked into this one store with anime/japanese goods and this sweet woman came up to me and told me she loves my outfit and my shoes and walked around me to see the back of my outfit as well and just really made my day. she was the sweetest thing ever and we had a little conversation involving her husband and her friend who was also wearing doc marten oxfords like me. earlier a couple dudes saw me and said "hot topic" out loud and followed me to hot topic which was kinda frickin weird (i was wearing goth style clothing). ummm....

at 7 pm i went to this bar/grille place for a local music show featuring 4 bands, 2 of which one of my friends is in. my friend had invited me and i ended up inviting an acquaintance from anime club who is super funny and sweet. i also ran into 2 old friends from high school! the music was fucking amazing and i actually started tearing up at one point to one of the songs. i was having the time of my life. one of the performers was "short johnny depp" (- anime club girl) and he had incredible stage presence like forreal. my fav part was when they started playing american idiot and the whole crowd was incredibly hype and thrashing around. 

i went to the bar to get water and this dude tried chatting me up. i am very awkward when it comes to flirting but i think i seemed pretty cool and funny. the old guy sitting to my right tried hyping the dude up by saying he seems like a 7/10 etc. and i kinda played along but like it wasn't happening. but like the point is the guy that tried chatting me up seemed kinda nervous and sweet and it made me realize that maybe guys aren't so bad after all, they're not the demons i've made them to be in my head. they're just humans.

then i danced some more until the tinnitus had me fucked up and i had to leave. it was such a fucking awesome night though with awesome people all around. definitely gonna go to more local music shows.

i was supposed to invite this guy from bumble on a date with me here but i chickened out at the last minute. but looking back i probably looked cool as hell dancing to the band going all out. i'm honestly cooler and hotter than i think i am and i need to remember this so i don't lose good opportunities. :)
