aight another rambly post, but later I might actually bug one of my friends for help. So I wanna design Astra. Astra from Astra's Demo, my text based romantic choose-your-own-adventure game. Not much is admittedly said about their looks.
"Lady Greenfyre re-adds some assets that were cooked off, gives you a soft head of hair, shiny lively blue eyes, a warm smile, and a strong body to do lots of lifting with." this is done intentionally because I want the readers to put themselves in Astra's shoes.
But I do want to give Astra an actual face. All I have so far is a unique hairstyle, so like if you see a silhouette you'd be like "oh I know who that is, that's Astra from Astra's Demo".
A canonical look, I guess you could say. but however Astra is imagined is totally a-ok and encouraged.
Astra's gender is ambiguous, also on purpose, so they respond positively to all pronouns used to refer to them. I call Astra 'them', and my mom calls Astra 'she', and I really like that a lot.
Astra is a clay doll turned to life, and thanks to Lady Greenfyre's magic is given fur, organs, blood vessels, etc. This is referenced a LOT in Astra's Demo, hopefully not too much.
yeah by the way this is a furry game, every character in the game is a furry creature LOL, but you could somehow imagine everyone as humans if you ignore lines such as "Artemis' tail wags".
so design wise...I want something that stands out and is also flexible. I might put Astra in some casual streetwear, but what about their body build or proportions? They stand at 6 feet tall, if anything.
