Thoughts and Facts: 

This song takes on that vibe of those ballads sung in an old club late at night, similar to Will Woods "Love Me, Normally"(the Normal Album, 2020). I like this style of music because it feels raw and genuine, like someone just singing from the heart. I also find this song interesting(And the album in general) because of the name. The song is called Shedding Tears and the album is Shredding Tears. This name goes on to be the name of Bryan Scarys band, "Bryan Scary and the Shredding Tears" however the song is never referenced in any of the bands songs. Although a few of the melodies in the songs from Shredding Tears are later reused in Flight of the Knife. 

The lyrics in this song and the style suggest that Scary is singing about a failing love, but if you look carefully at the lyrics a lot of it seems just absurd. I think the words flow together well! And the chorus is really nice. The vibe never falters, it's a very well-rounded song. 

"The Wailing Wall could never hold the things you say" I thought this line was strange and so I did a quick search of what The Wailing Wall is and as far as I know it's a sacred place in Jerusalem. Wailing Wall is an outdated term, most call it the Western Wall. It is the only remaining wall of an ancient temple. The Western Wall is a place of prayer, and it is a custom for people to push slips of paper with wishes or prayers into the cracks of the wall. If any of this is inaccurate, please comment or IM me.
