Everytime there's a LGBT+ character leading a show certain people online will say things like "I can't believe this large company isn't promoting this show!" it's obvious that they're trying to fill their diversity quota.... I need my community to take a hint
That major company isn't "accidentally" not promoting a show or movie with prominent LGBT+ characters

a lot of studios will do some progressive type stuff to fill investor standards but they intentionally set it up to fail.
see how crunchyroll basically kneecapped high guardian spice on day 1. underfunding, mismanagement of existing funds, bad promos, trying to change the show to be more 'mature' after the scripts were already written

100%.... it's just so obvious and happens so much idg why people act confused or shocked at this type of behavior with LGBT+ shows and moves when the reason is very obvious
