The whole squad! :D The whole squad went to Peterborough! First I met up with Robin (who looked very alt [for him at least], his jacket was awesome, he even had the patch I made for him on his jacket :D) at his house and we walked down to the police station and met up with Soraya (who was running a bit late, and dressed in their cute, childlike outfit). We saw Grace (who was dressed in a very 90's outfit) at the car park across the road and then we headed down to Wetherspoons to meet up with Caitlin (who was dressed in a formal casual outfit, which looked very nice and elegant ^^), then finally arrived at the train station to meet up with Alice (who looked like a Uni student who spends a lot of time in libraries and museums)!
We caught the train to Peterborough, Robin and I got separated from the rest of the group and we had to sit at a table with an elderly lady. I put my bag on the table to get my headphones out, when the elderly lady says "That's a nice bag! Where'd you get it from?" XD I told her I got it from SaiSai in Camden, which seemed to stump her a bit, I don't think she had a clue what I was on about lol. Once we arrived at Peterborough, we headed to Queensgate (a shopping centre) and Robin nearly got run over on the way there.
We went to Tiger first and they had all the spooky stuffs out, including skeleton and pumpkin fairy lights. I got a flower headband with a veil and Robin got some little jars ^^ We went to Menkind next and had a look around there, they had a Slipknot mug and goat head decoration on display there. Went to Primark, we didn't have to que up outside any more, but it was hella busy there! Grace and I got some things, she got an autumnal outfit and I got a pair of tights and a bow. Unfortunately, the bow is once again a barrette which is no good! I need to get some alligator hair clips so I can switch out the clips, I'm trying to have that typical scene/ emo girl bow, you know, those really big ones? But I've no clue where to get them, or coon tails either :/
Caitlin had a brief look in Game, meanwhile the rest of the crew looked in a shoe shop that had some decent looking boots. Once we finished in there, we went down to Damaged Society, A.K.A British Hot Topic! I spent a while in there simply because I couldn't decide if I wanted to get the Hell Bunny pinafore or a long-sleeve Slipknot shirt and some other things. The problem would be, if I got the Hell Bunny pinafore, it would mean I couldn't get anything else other than food, plus I'd have to get it modified anyway (which would cost more money) because even the XS is too big! (As in the straps are too long) So, I got yet another Slipknot shirt lol (this is my third one now 0_o). I also got a wallet chain that looks like barbed wire, and two necklaces! The till ladies were dressed for Halloween and looked super cool! One of them was dressed as Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas! She also complimented my outfit too ^^'
We then went to the nearby Poundland and got some drinks, and then went to Greggs to grab lunch. We sat on a bench outside the side of Queensgate, when a bunch of people started walking out of the building? Even the people in the hairdressers with the tin foil still in their hair had to leave! Two large fire engines turned up and went to the square outside the other side of Queensgate, then a smaller fire engine turned up along with two police cars! Turns out that the entrance/ exit near McDonalds somehow caught fire.
Whilst all that was going on, we finished our lunch as Queensgate was burning to the ground behind us. Then we went to Waterstones, WHSmith and The Works, where Grace, Robin and Caitlin bought books and Alice got a super cute and super soft bear plushie ^^ While we were in Waterstones, a lady complimented Robin and I, however, Robin walked off just as the lady was trying to talk to us :/ I don't know, maybe he didn't know the lady was talking to both of us?
By the time we had finished there, everyone was allowed back into Queensgate, which was strange because there was no evidence of a fire at McDonalds other than a burning smell earlier (but that could've been someone near us who was smoking). Grace and Robin went into McDonalds whilst the rest of us looked in Claire's where I got another bow (again I need to change the clip) and Alice got a ring :3
We then started to make our way back towards the way we came in, but not before having a quick snoop around TK Max, where Robin got some cool octopus socks. Alice also got some Boba (which she unfortunately spent £5 on and it turned out to be completely garbage, the milk was iffy, the caramel was burnt and the pearls were overcooked) and Soraya got some pretzel sticks! Some kids walked past us and seemed to be talking crap about us (probably more specifically me because of the way I dress), according to Robin.
By the time everyone got the last couple bits they wanted, we had 15 minutes to catch the train back to our hometown! We nearly had to run to catch the train! Unfortunately, we didn't get chance to take a picture together, but never mind. Also, when we all got home, we found out a guy in his 30's was jumped by a group and found in critical condition O_O Not sure if that happened whilst we were in Queensgate or if that happened in our town, Soraya and Alice didn't specify. Hope the guy is okay!
All in all, I think all of us enjoyed ourselves, too bad I'm not meeting up with any of my friends on Halloween though :< I might dress up and take some pictures though, depends how bothered I am. If I do, they'll be on my Instagram ^^
