as someone who loves everyone

i've been looking for something to write for a while now and this came to mind while i was cleaning up a bit so i wrote it down as quick as i could before i forgot it. it's a little different than the depressing stuff i usually write about, and i hope it does someone good even if just in a small amount

as someone who loves everyone,

you find a lot that don't.

there are those who simply can't,

and those who simply won't.

so pay no mind to those who won't,

for that is just their choice.

and care for those who find it hard,

and in success, rejoice.

the world is wide, and vast, and large

and there are some who act in charge.

but pay no mind, leave them behind

for they just think you're dumb.

as someone who loves everyone,

there are a lot that don't.

there are those who find it hard,

and those who say they won't.

the world is as hard as it is huge,

and to be kind, that's for you to choose.

but please bare in mind, that one or two

small good deeds help more than a few.

love your neighbour, those friends and those not,

for when people stop caring, they're all that you've got.

be nice to all others, even those you don't know,

the good that it does is more than it shows.
