Hello fellow emo/scene people of Spacehey!! It's been a few months since I made my last blog post on here, and I realize I need to be more active. What better way to make my return than to post a controversial blog that might make half of my own community hate me?

And if you disagree with this blog then I really dont have any problem with you deleting me cause I dont want to associate with people like you, sorry. 

Anyways, we are here to talk about the notorious band Falling In Reverse, specifically the infamous Ronald Joseph Radke. 

Here's a fun fact about me. I used to be a HUGE fan of Falling In Reverse and his work in Escape the Fate was well. I was such a huge fan that I am even ashamed to admit that Falling In Reverse took my concert virginity when I saw them on "The Thug In Me Is You" tour in 2012. I drew so many portraits of Ronnie in my notebooks in high school. I thought this dude was the most real fucker in the music scene and that his lyricism was unrivaled. I practically borderline worshipped him among others like Andy Biersack, Craig Mabbitt, and (trust me I deeply regret this) Dahvie Vanity. After Falling In Reverse released Fashionably Late in 2013, I fell off, so admittedly I really only listed to their first album. 

"But what turned you against my personal lord and savior Ronald Radke???" you might ask.

Where do I fucking START!?

TRANSPHOBIA/HOMOPHOBIA

Did you guys know that I am a trans man? Now, you might be wondering what this has to do with Ronnie. Ronnie is a MASSIVE transphobe. And you all should know this if you pay attention to his twitter account. He has been seen DOZENS of times, especially recently amongst controversial events in media surrounding trans women ESPECIALLY. I am also "married" to a trans women so any stuff revolving around those topics are a sensitive topic to me. Ronnie constantly spreads misinformation about trans women such as them being predatory on young girls in women's bathrooms and joining women's leagues in sports just to cheat their way to first place. Obviously there is PLENTY of evidence against these statements Ronnie tries to push to his audience. Proof of these statements are provided in these screenshots below...

She was in 465th place cause she was on Estrogen you fucking moron. And if you saw a person like Buck Angel (I know he's a transmed, but simply using his physique as an example), you wouldn't make him compete in women's sports would you??

If you think trans women's goals are to fucking prey on women and girls in bathrooms, then you sir, are not in support or an ally to us trans people. You are a transphobe that eats up propaganda pushed out by sources like FOX News. Also using your trans friends to justify you saying these things only proves to me that they're just tokens to you, just like a racist saying that they have a black friend so they cant be racist. You're a POS. 

Ronnie is also VERY non-binary-phobic and goes out of his way to harass and misgender non-binary folk on his Twitter and TikTok CONSTANTLY.

Did you forget that Gerard Way, the person that boosted your career with Escape the Fate, uses they/them/he/him pronouns?

He misgendered Against Me! vocalist Laura Jane Grace, who is a trans woman...

He also said some EXTREMELY offensive homophobic statements before to people on Twitter...

Now, some of you might say "That's just his opinion". And I say you are WRONG. This is dangerous, especially with how large his audience is. His biggest fans will eat up anything he says and he has the influencing power to change people's minds on topics like this. This makes his audience more susceptible to falling down the alt-right pipeline. Its no secret that Ronnie is a conservative. Hateful speech radicalizes people, and the more radicalized people get, the more violent tendencies they develop. This is how mass shootings like the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shootings start. Influencers speak their minds on these kinds of topics. Someone listens blindly, and we end up there. Some of these fans might turn on Tucker Carlson eventually.

So by defending Ronnie, you are a transphobe by proxy, whether you like it or not. We can use this comparatively to someone who claims they're not queer-phobic and still eats at Chick-fil-A despite already knowing that the profits go to lobbying bills that place protections on conversion camps and even privately fund them. Their chicken tastes so good, it cant be that bad right? His music is so good, it cant be that bad, right?

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, R*PE ALLEGATIONS, MISOGYNY

Most of these I will stress are ALLEGED due to legal reasoning and he hasn't been found guilty legally, but I believe we should always take allegations into consideration. There have been numerous individuals who have come forward with their own horror stories.

This has been buried and forgotten over the years. Kacee Boswell was allegedly cornered and sexually assaulted by Ronnie a in 2015 in Salt Lake City. She clarified that the gang rape that her friend posted on social media was not the true story and that it was just Ronnie on his tour bus. This has yet to be proven true.

Ronnie was also arrested in California in 2012 for physically assaulting his now ex-girlfriend Sally Watts. This went to court and he plead no contest and eventually Sally herself dropped the charges and the case was dismissed. Keep in mind that a lot of DV survivors are often threatened into silence, so the fact there never was a conclusive ruling doesn't disprove that this never happened. Dropping charges doesn't make the victim a liar as the same applied to many of Dahvie Vanity's rape charges. Ronnie still has assault and battery listed on his criminal record from this event. 

Also Ronnie LOATHES his female fans and has vocalized his disproval of teenage girls lip syncing his music on TikTok cause he finds it "cringe", and calls them "r*tards" (ableist much bro?). He even threw his mic stand at a female fan at a live show once causing a head laceration that resulted in a lawsuit, where Ronnie had to pay out $900k to the victim. He has publicly and privately threatened women with physical violence online as well. 

FATPHOBIA

It's 2022 and we are still doing this? Evidence in the medical world shows that people who struggle with obesity is often caused by genetics. There are diseases and syndromes that exist that cause people to have rapid weight gain and struggle with losing weight. I, for one, am one of these individuals who suffer from hypothyroidism and possibly Cushing's Disease, which both cause rapid weight gain. I exercise in excess of 8+ hours a day at my very physical job and eat an average diet and drink plenty of water and I STILL gain weight. And are we ready to talk about how American foods are so loaded with sugar and dyes that it is often illegal in other countries, also contributing to American obesity rates?? A lot of times obesity is just another symptom of an underlying disease. And lastly, someone's weight and lifestyle is NO ONE ELSE'S FUCKING BUSINESS. 

But Ronnie still thinks that being fat is a personal choice and bully's overweight people on Twitter. This is NOT okay.

DOXXING

Not even a week ago, Ronnie messaged a Twitter user threatening to dox them  and come to their house to assault them after the Twitter user made allegations towards Ronnie of taking underage girls to his bus in his early career. Ronnie attempted to dox and was called out by many. 

ALPHA MALE SYNDROME

Ronnie is always inconsistent with his story about why he went to prison. He admittedly denies ever murdering someone (which he didn't), and doesn't want that to ruin his reputation, but when the opportunity comes up to make him look like he's a dangerous badass, that is all he brags about. He says he would have killed the victim if he had the chance. For someone who doesn't wanted to be painted as a murderer, why did he get a prison tattoo that is code for being a murderer? 

He also likes using his daddy's biker gang as leverage with empty threats about how he can send them to hurt someone that hurt his fragile ego.

Ronnie cant take any personal criticism. He's nothing but a textbook narcissist. He isn't a badass, he's just a toddler that throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way. He is a manchild with mommy issues. 

COVID DENIAL

Ronnie spread so much QAnon conspiracy theories to his audience early in the Covid-19 pandemic it was downright embarrassing. He spouted lies such as how the virus was a part of the so-called "plandemic", how masks dont work and were a test of conformity, and how vaccines were unsafe and a way to control the population. He has since scrubbed the internet of ever making these tweets, but you can still find the reply tweets from other Twitter users disputing his claims on Twitter and TikTok. Ronnie really was doing FOX News's work for them spreading their propaganda into brainwashing the masses into paranoia against the public's best interest. Below is the only remaining tweet that can be viewed from said rants.

CONCLUSION

I hope I made my point very clear as to why I dislike Ronnie. I think this is a very clear example in how he shouldn't be supported or praised. His lyrics are loaded with his narcissistic rants and personal opinions. I haven't even included everything like the I See Stars controversy, his former feud with Craig Mabbitt, or even his racist takes. Ronnie is a terrible person who doesn't deserve the platform he has, and takes all the credit from the people who help him make the things that got him where he is now. People need to realize this. People need to stop feeding his bloated ego. PLEASE Stop giving terrible people in the scene power. How come we can disavow Ian Watkins and Dahvie Vanity, but not Ronnie Radke? Does it REALLY have to fucking come down to r*ping a fucking child in order for us to take these things seriously??? 

Listen to A Smile From The Trenches instead. The vocalist sings just like Ronnie and DEREK JONES was in this band before Falling In Reverse. Its almost the same band...but without the problematic shit.
