Backseat Blogging

Some Spacehey news! This is my 50th blog entry of this series! (well, technically it couldve been 50th a while ago but with my weird counting system this is number 50!) Its been a real pleasure blogging for you guys. Therapeutic and relaxing, its always nice to do some reflection and talk about my life. I really hope it is as entertaining for you guys to read as it is for me to write! I appreciate yall for taking the time out of your day to read this little thing i do. And hey, Spacehey rules! By the way, i also have a tumblr, which ill be keeping updated with some blog posts. Not all of em, but some. This one is gonna stay just on Spacehey for example! Other Spacehey news: i have 4000 profile views! fucking rad number, 4000. So many people, holy shit! Im no where near 1500 friends, which is my next friend milestone. but hey, a lot of people have seen my page! i decided to update it a teeny bit, so its not as long and length but also more accurate to current me. 

So, my personal life! i broke up with my last girlfriend on Tuesday, so that happened haha. Ive since had some time to wallow in my lonelyness (a self indulgent description of just relaxing to get my mind off of it) and now im feeling a lot better. Hanging out with friends, talking to you all, and the people close to me has helped me through my complications. So, i cant say im doing the best ever, but im feeling good enough to start feeling better! No more wallowing, time to enjoy my summer while i still can. I hung out with some friends yesterday, got some boba tea and played cards! Thats something i want to do more often.

Speaking of summer, Im going on vacation! You probably could guess that from the title of this blog post, but im currently in the backseat of a car about to get on the highway in a few minutes. We’ll be in driving for almost 5 hours, all the way up to Maine, Acadia National Park specifically. Its this beautiful landscape of forests, rivers, mountians, and ponds on an island. The weather is always beautiful, and even when it rains the scenery has this air of serene grace. Ive done this trip every year of my life since i was a toddler, sometimes camping, sometimes renting a house to stay in. There was a little bit of drama about going on this trip this year, as that my brother brought his girlfriend on the trip. This is new for us, as not only have we never had anyone besides my immediate 4 person family come along, but also this is the longest time we are formally being introduced to her. He was never interested in dating, so this is a first for him. theyve been dating for a couple months now, and its pretty serious from what ive seen. I hope it goes well!

Ive been getting more in touch with my gaming! Its been exciting to play more games that i enjoy, leaning into that passtime a bit. I like to complete achievements, and im not a “hardcore pro gamer” but i try to play well for fun. Some games I’m working on is Hollow Knight, im trying to beat Pantheon 5, the hardest challenge in the game. I’m also trying to beat a speedrun achievement for the game, and play the No Death gamemode where a single death ends that playthrough. There are maybe 5 more achievements I have yet to complete, but then i will have beaten the game, completely, for real! I cant wait. Oh, and I’m looking for people to play Risk of Rain 2 with! If you own or play Risk of Rain 2 on Steam and want someone to play with, id be very happy to accompany you in a couple games. Its a multiplayer roguelike, and if you havnt played it already id heavily recommend checking it out!
