Experiencing the olden days of gaming laptops, it ain't half bad. Except for one thing.

So my main laptop is an Alienware M14X, released in 2012. Yeah, it's old, but it's plenty powerful.

Equipped with an Intel i7-2670QM CPU, an Nvidia Geforce GT555M GPU, 16 gigs of RAM and a 1 terabyte SSD, It can handle some light gaming and office tasks. Does Blender halfway decently as well, though I've never pushed it to its absolute limit in that regard. I can also tolerate a lot of compromise, so my views might be unreliable lol.

Overall, perfect for me. It's powerful enough, it's decently portable while having quite a bit of heft, it has that old, tacky gamer aesthetic, what's not to love? The speakers, that's what.

It sounds like if a laptop could get a cold and started trying to sing metal opera with a thrashed voice while underwater.

I like to listen to a lot of music. Sure, I could just use headphones, but that can be quite uncomfortable for long periods of time, and sometimes I like to have the room I'm in fill up with music.

Sure, it's a nitpick, I can live without super amazing audio in an ancient gaming laptop, but it is slightly annoying and by god will I complain about it.
