College radio jockey dream

Been applying to colleges and man i’m so psyched about the idea of being a radio jockey! It’s real important to me that whatever college i go to has a station, and so far every one on my list has one. Some are definitely better than others, but i wouldn’t mind making the station a project for myself. I don’t know man, ive been listening to a lot of music and daydreaming about playing it while sitting in the station with a friend or two... so i guess by radio jockey i don’t really mean radio personality, i just want to be the guy behind the scenes playing alternative beats like Jesus and the Mary Chain and so on. imagine that! Imagine the culture around the station too, with all the other student volunteers who love old tracks and kicking back, who hopefully love sharing the music they love just as much as you or me. and usually all these college stations let students host radio shows not just dedicated to music, but to chatting and so forth, so imagine all the good shit you can hear as you sit back and insure the broadcast is a-go. God, really gets me going. If you ever want good tunes, go on spotify and look for playlists embodying 90s independent radio stations, like this one called All Hit Radio!3am (the 3am being in tiny, exponent-like letters), my personal favorite at the moment. Man, what a dream
