a little summer blog post

hey there! Dio here, nice to chat with you. here to do some blogging and talking and hang out! kick your feet back, grab some warm tea, and enjoy this little snapshot of my thoughts.

Soooooo gonna talk about some Spacehey news and stats first! I just counted my blog posts, and discarding things that are too old to be part of this rough “blogging series” im doing and discarding things from scrapped or ended blogging series’s ive done, this is the 47th blog post ive made of a long on going blogging series! I have never really named the series or done anything official like that, but its been like… 5 months since ive started making blogs on here? Holy cow, thats a while of consistency for me! This has been honestly really nice! i know i dont get toooo much traction and views of this here on Spacehey, but the community of people on here is so nice and sweet and the convenience for me to just sit down on my computer or phone and type these little posts out is just so wonderful that ive kept it up for a long time haha. Almost half a year i think! In the beginning, i got practically no one seeing my stuff, represented by no kudos, which is fine, but it was really cool over time to see more views and shit haha. Even though im not really doing this to garner attention, its kinda cool to be noticed, even on such a small scale as this! Sometimes if i pick like a larger topic ill get a lot of attention, but even my smaller blog posts get a couple of kudos which is really nice to see haha. So, if you are reading this, first off Id like to say thank you, thanks for takin some time out of your day to sample my tiny writings in this small corner of the internet, it actually kind of means a lot that you are willing to read this. Im curious too… do you follow my stuff, are there people subscribed to this blog, or do you find it under the Recent tab of the Spacehey blog section? i dont know the demographic of people reading my stuff haha, even though i know its a small amount of people. If youve gotten this far, maybe leave me a comment on this letting me know how youve found this, and if you like reading blog posts? If you want of course, im simply glad that you are reading anyhow. :) oooh, maybe i should name this series? would that make it more interesting? im kinda shitty at naming things, but if you have an opinion on that too leave a comment. (ah, maybe no one will read this and im talking to myself… eh who cares! its fun either way hehe)

Also Spacehey news, im almost at 2500 profile views! thats hella exciting!! only like, 15 more views left! im hyped haha, i really like it here and hitting these little milestones is so exciting! The folks i met on here, the little interactions i have, awww its so amazing. You guys are so sweet and nice and kind and supportive, love yall for it. Im at a nice 620 friends, which is all nice n good too. ill of course talk about it in my blog when i reach 700 friends, a great number. So thats all well and good!

Trying to hang out with friends more, if i can! Yesterday i went out and played a card game with friends for a few hours. My parents are always bugging me about getting out of the house (more on that later), and honestly myself i wanted to get out more too, so it was really nice to meet up with them. Im feeling lonely all the time, and it helped with that too. (its not that i dont wanna get out more, its that i dont really have many friends or interesting reasons to get out.) Yesterday we played this card game called The Binding of Isaac Four Souls (4 Souls for short). Its a game Im constantly playing with my friends, based on the video game The Binding of Isaac. Its kinda a popular or atleast well known roguelike indie game where you go through a dungeon defeating bosses and enemies and collecting items on different runs. Anyways, the card game is pretty different, with the same ideas of fighting monsters and collecting items. The winner is the first person to collect 4 souls, which you get from beating bosses or other means. it is competitive, cooperative, and has a bartering system based on coins that lets you make alliances with other players. Overall, a really fun game.

Eh, some other small topics before i finish this up… i have a LIT camp councilor training thing im doing next week that im looking forward to, still havnt gotten a new therapist although i have some meeting with possible ones later this week, no romance news sadly, my parents are being finnicky and intrusive and limiting my use on my computer because ive been “on it too much”. They fucking suck sometimes. On that last bit, i worked so hard to gain freedoms with my computer. then shit hit the fan in parts of my life regarding a medical crisis, and my life fell apart again. and now that its hard, and im going back to using more screens, instead of helping me find alternative things to do and incentivizing me they turn to limiting my screentime usage, isolating me even more from the only things i have left. Thanks, parents. you really know whats best for me.

Thats all for today, yeah kinda a shitty note to end on. If you liked this, give me kudos if you want, and leave a comment if you want as well! Im thankful for anyone reading this, means a lot. Love yall, peace out

You remind me of me a little bit in your writing (not Now Me, but Old Me, before I let the world kill my spirit, ha). Not just the way you write but the content. It's very engaging and sweet and you seem like such a neat person. I'm really happy you added me here, and I can't wait to read all about your life and adventures, and I wish you all the best! Feel free to talk to me anytime. :)
