First Entry

Hello, I'm not exactly the best with introductions, but my name is a good place to start. I'm Beatrice, but my friends call me rice. Despite the combative and abrasive nature of my about section, I'm actually a little more relaxed. I want to be left alone, and that's that, hence the tone. I'll say what I think and I'll share the things I like. If you like it, that's nice. If not, that's nice too I guess. Either way, I'm here for me and I'm here for my friends. Welcome to my blog!

I'm currently getting over a cold, and my COVID test result came back negative, so I'm glad that it's ONLY a cold. Unfortunately, I had to call out of work this morning. I usually feel really guilty about that kind of thing, regardless if I have a good reason or otherwise. However, with everything that's been going on, going to work while coughing up my lungs and dripping snot all over the place is as equally irresponsible with the kind of day job I have. At least that means I'll get a four day work week instead. My voice is still coarse, and I'm still trying to clear out all this mucus, never fun. Anyways, this is my obligatory first post.
