I completely forgot to say, HAPPY PRIDE MONTH DEARIES! I know this is super late but due to exams and job hunting, both me and my friends have been too tired to celebrate pride. Anyway, the day before, Al literally just finished college, both me and Robin had finished our exams on the 24th, Belladonna (formerly Grace) and Soraya had finished exams a bit before the rest of us. We decided that today, we would go and hang out in town and buy some bubble waffles. On the way there, I dropped off my big ass biology textbook in the charity shop, then I gave Donna a dress that I no longer wanted. Donna and I also bought some stuff from the haberdashery.
We went to the bubble waffle place, me and Soraya had bubble waffles and Robin had a cheesecake, unfortunately Al didn't have any cash of him and the shop doesn't take card, he tried to withdraw some money but the machine was broken so he couldn't withdraw any :< Donna wasn't hungry. We stayed there and chatted for a while.
After that, we went to Greggs and all of us got something from there, most of them got toasties, but Donna got a sausage roll and I got a chicken bake (cause they're my favs). We walked to Greetings (for some reason, all of us, including my parents, want to call it Celebrations, but that's a chocolate) and Al got a slushie, and it was the colours of the trans flag! We sat and vibed outside Greetings for a bit, Robin, Donna and Soraya were having a very "intimate" conversation about their fanfics lmao, Al and I were just sat on the side like ummmm
After that we headed towards Donna's house and met Lauren on the way, they looked extremely tired, but in all fairness, they had just finished revising in school, I talked to them for a bit whilst the rest of the group chatted by the side of the road. Someone, who was smoking, walked past, and from where Lauren was stood, it looked like they were sharing a joint XD Lauren also seems to love my bat boots, almost every time I wear them, they comment on them, I think they wants a pair! We then parted ways and went to Donna's house.
Donna has a really nice little house, its so cute! I loved the mirror they had, it looked magical, but in all fairness, both Donna and their mum are into wicca, which is really cool. The mirror had I think two people on either side of the frame wearing hooded cloaks, at the top of the mirror was a pentacle charm, the frame itself was a dull grey-brown colour and it looked like winding twigs or branches but with the two figures carved out on it. I'm not really sure how to describe it but it looked magick.
We played cards against humanity until Al had to go to work, as he was walking past the window, he stuck his middle finger up at us (affectionately) XD We chatted for a bit, Robin and Donna were trying to see who could find the most cursed gifs and I was just vibing to Hawthorne Heights (cause I know all my friends like them). Soraya commented how it went from calm to screaming back to calm, that's what I love about their debut album (The Silence In Black And White), also I really love Nikki Fm, Screenwriting An Apology always seems to take me by surprise for some reason, I just forget its playing until it gets to "Exit now, credits rolling" and I don't know why, but that's my favourite part of that song.
We met up at around 12, Al had left around half 3 and at around 4, me, Robin and Soraya left. We walked back to Robin's house and Soraya wanted to see his rats, then we parted ways. It's not that I didn't want to see Robin's rats, I was just very tired, I think I bruised my butt and my knees from sitting on the floor in Donna's house lol.
But yeah, a fun day out!!
