Is it weird that I value my friendships over my bf? Like I love him and everything but I won’t put him above the people I have known for years, but like everyone else seems to care so much more about their romantic partners and like??? I don’t think I’m aro, but like seriously is it that weird?

Yeah he’s my friend, I just mean that I’ve only know him for a few months while I’ve known my friends for years

I do the same thing lol. I'm demisexual and it took me yearz to want to date my current partner, then I pinned them for years lol, now we've been dating for 2 years. Yet still if I had to choose between them and my friends I'd probably chose my friends. Regardless tho, if a person asked specifically I would choose the other side rather than whichever side the person is on (wether it be my partner or a friend) cause if they're asking me something that evasive then they aren't worth it :/
