-HAGS ig (TW mentions of fire, some text in all caps.)

Ok so I was just chilling in first period, right? History finals were pretty decent (I got a B 🥳 ) and the professor kicks us out of the classroom 5 minutes earlier than we were supposed to leave. Students literally causing a traffic jam in every hallway and nobody knows where to go because our second period classes were still in session for first period, so we had to wait outside the room.

But that's not the worst thing that happened. About two days ago, OUT OF NOWHERE, the fire alarms start going off and nearly busted my eardrums. The whole school was waiting outside in the sweltering heat of Midwestern America and the whole Fire Squad pulled up, they even brought the Fire Marshall. That's the moment I realized that I definitely should not have worn a massive black sweater over a tiny thin tank top cuz HO BOY I FEEL LIKE I'M HAVING A HEATSTROKE AND I CAN'T TAKE IT OFF OR ELSE I'M GONNA BE LITERALLY EXPOSED.

Rumors are going around that someone pulled the alarm for a prank or something. I'm not sure if this is true but if it is, then whoever pulled it is definitely gonna get expelled... 😬

From what I've heard, either the alarm accidentally went off or there was an accident during construction in the new theatre (which I believe is more likely). I can ask my mom again once I get home though and figure it out, aha.

something like that happened when i was in elementary school, it was probably triggered by dust

How can dust trigger a fire alarm-

it gets into the alarm system the same way smoke would because they're both extremely small particles in the air, and the alarm system can't tell the difference

ah ok, I didn't know that (yes, I know I'm kinda dumb lol)
