song progress!!!!!

ok so it's going really well! i've got a good sense of how to sing the lyrics, i'm thinking in a kind of veruca salt+babes in toyland+courtney love kind of way. and with a bunch of vocal fry, of course. and i've got the basic guitar down, mostly. it's just power chords, but F, F sharp and G in a down up rest pattern. I've also got a cool riff for the chorus, C, D, D sharp, D, D, D, A. I'm kind of figuring out the drums too, garageband is simple but it is free and pretty useful too. I wanna write a bassline but i think i'll use a downtuned guitar, i want to capture a sleater-kinney esque sound with it and they don't use bass guitar. I might add some more meat to the chorus of the song too, right now it's just the one line repeating and i want to change that. i also like how descriptive the lyrics, but they are raw enough that i'm scared other people will see it and think im insane. i think im just going to have to get over it though. i was really inspired by seether and doll parts.
