for many years ive had bad nightmares due to lots of trauma. they started out really scary and realstic and always stuck with me. it took a while for me to be okay in the mornings.

now theyre even worse.

they all connect like a timeline. as if im just dropping into another life thats existing parallel to ours. things are noticed but not explored, then introduced months later. a door that i used to never be able to sneak past i can now walk through in plain sight. i have a key now. 

its strange, and it takes me much longer to "snap back" into this reality in the mornings, if thats what it is. 

every really bad one solidifies my theory. idk.
