flirting - by a socially inept teenage boy...

i tried flirting with this guy yesterday... i thought i was being romantic, like in the movies. but, when i talked about it with my other friend, he told me i was being borderline psychotic... here's how it went down.

so, we talked, exchanged drawings for a while, everything going fine. i told a joke, and he laughed, and it made me really happy that i could make him laugh. to express that, i said, "i would like to lay you on my vivisection table," basically an autopsy table for people who aren't dead, "and remove your ventromedial prefrontal cortex," the part of the brain that allows you to understand jokes and laugh at them, "so it's mine and only mine.." ...he hasn't spoke to me since.

okay, i see how it can be taken in a creepy way, but.. i meant it in a nice way! you know, so he'd only ever laugh at my jokes, so i wouldn't get jealous..
