before we begin, I ask this of you: if your life was a movie, what genre would it be?
sometimes, I can't tell if mine is a tragedy or dark comedy.
one of my coworkers spilled the beans to another about me and my boss. and it just so happens the person they told is new, and kind've hot-headed/emotional. she's an older lady and a mother, so she's really REALLY not happy about it. we'll call her Beth.
for context, I guess I'll tell you more about me and my situation. I'll be giving people fake names in ( )
I'm the youngest person at my job, it's food service related. the only other people that i told are the people around my age(Army, Chez, Elusive) and one older lady (Mary). I've been working here for a year now- since I was 18, it's my first job. my boss is a lot older than me. he's married and his kid is pretty much the same age as me. i know it's wrong, ok? i know. but when I met this person, I never knew a year later we'd be here, still doing all this stuff. I never thought he'd cheat on his wife, I didn't even like him when we met. at some other point I i'll tell you how all it started indepth but for now, this will have to do. we'll call my boss Paolo.
anyways, I found out from my guy friend (we'll call him Army), that Beth came up to him and asked if he knew about me and my boss. he was confused at first and he tried to cover for me and basically tried to find out what she knew. he told me everything, and eventually she came up to me and was kind've discreetly trying to fish for information from me. what he found out, was who told Beth. the person who told was someone I used to be friends with but lately at work they've been so lazy ! I got onto her about it (Chez) and eventually my assistant manager came up to me and asked about how lazy she's been. anyways- that's a whole other story.
now, im just paranoid. how many people know? and now, I have to tell Paolo everything.
I mean, one time he did ask me, "who all did you tell?"
and I didn't lie to him, I told him - "only my friends know."
and the people we work with are my friends.
i just hope he'll still talk to me, because I really love him. I hope he won't get fired, I just hope everything will be okay tbh. what would you do?

probably because you make good decisions haha

tbh you probably should leave this job. you're young, the boss has a wife and a child, basically everyone at that job now sees you as a homewrecker. you shouldn't get involved with people at your job like this for many reasons.
