It gets worse

So I might not be able to go to prom. Even if I was able, I might not be able to wear the dress I bought with my grandma's money. I don't know how to feel. I was so sure I wouldn't care about prom, I didn't even want to go to prom two years ago. But I lost a whole year of high school, I didn't go to any school events because I didn't think I'd lose a whole year of school. But now, I want to have some memories of high school. So I thought prom would be a good start. Now I probably won't be able to go because of my absences. I'm actually really upset. I actually wanted to go.
