i went to my first edm fest/rave event back in december, my ex and i spent nye 2021 at countdown and it was uber fun :) it literally felt like wonderland in there with all the colorful light shows and installations and rides! the music totally sucked u in, especially while dancing! it was just awesum
anyways because of that great experience i decided to go to project glow fest, another insomniac event (just like countdown) happening in washington d.c. i think one of their few events on the east coast. and thankfully i have family in d.c., so i can crash with them! there's just 12 more days left! i basically went broke buying everything in preparation-- outfits, hydration pack, accessories, etc.-- which kinda sux haha.
i think i'm most excited about diving deeper into the edm/rave community and getting familiar with the culture. i ordered some beads to make kandi and i'm so excited to make and trade some ^_^ i want to make lots of awesome friends!
sadly i do not have any irl friends into edm/raves so i'm going with an online acquaintance. i also met some folks over the app radiate. ~ if anyone of u is going to this event, hmu! i want 2 meet u!!!
