Warrior cats - Hated to be useless, Chapter 2

(Peachkit’s pov)

At that time where everyone fell asleep, I went out from nursery. I saw the sky yet I smiled:

“Calm yourself Peachkit. It’s the time when you learn the herbs where they are.” I silently tried to walk i won’t woke anyone, I entered the medicine den yet i had a shocked face:

“W-Why Cyclone and Hawkleaves here.” I asked to Spottedlight and Fernpaw with whispering voice:

“Hawkleaves is here for protection and Cyclone is here for some reasons that we can’t explain you Peachkit. I’m sorry.” Spottedlight explained to me…Why Cyclone come with us, I don’t get it.

“Then let’s go.” Us, the five cats walked silently so we tried to not caught by other cats. We walked to Thunderclan first. A cat spotted us:

“Hey why are you in Thunderclan?!” He called us,Spottedlight sighed and said:

“I am here to collect Goldenrod and some herbs as well.” She said to defend ourselves, the Thunderclan warrior glared at me a little bit weird…

“With a beautiful she-kit, a elder and a tom?!” He called me as she…I mean okay.I have to admit,that i have a feminine looking face just as Elmpaw.

“Excuse me. I am a jerry, not a she!” I wanted to hiss at him but i wasn’t angry at them at all so i give a little warning.

“They are here to collect other herbs as well, understood? Thunderclan warrior.” Spottedlight talked to the Thunderclan warrior. The warrior said:

“Do you have permission from our leader?” He asked to us, I hoped that Spottedlight had a permission.

“Yes even the leader had a contract when we got in war. When Riverclan needs herbs they can take without a permission.” I was shocked that how strong our clan is. My eyes sparkled but i wasn’t interested being a warrior.

“So…I should go now i guess.” I felt something off from the Thunderclan warrior,then we started to collect other herbs and Spottedlight told me about where the herbs were.

We even traveled to Shadowclan. Luckily there was no patrol, so i saw many prey,puddles that smell disgusting and the horsetail herb. After somehow we also traveled to Windclan, We saw the rabbits and run at the moors, I’m so enjoyed from this moors.

I stayed at the gorge while the others were collecting herbs. Suddenly i slipped and screamed:

“AAAA!” I yelled, “Help!” I heard some paw steps. Luckily there was a branch that i can hold. Cyclone said: “Don’t worry Peachkit i’ll save you!” He screamed but he’s stopped by Spottedlight.

“This is too dangerous for you!” She probably explained to him, “You are too old for saving Peachkit!” but i heard another foot steps. I guess it was Fernpaw. Then the cat tried to jump where i was. I couldn’t believe it…She was a beautiful brown she with almost white muzzle.

She throw me to the near of Cyclone, but sadly she dissappeared…I got sad and thought she was dead…

“I-I guess she i-is dead…” I felt somehow a sad, I couldn’t get any information about them.

“It might be, but Peachkit the life continues from it is. Understood.” I couldn’t say anything…But somehow it felt so much sad in my opinion. I prayed that Starclan will hunt with her.

“Why always good cats die instead of bad ones.” I asked this question Cyclone, he sighed and said:

“I don’t know Peachkit. I guess Starclan chooses cat who should die or stay alive.” He said to me that i was shocked. I can’t believe this life is really unfair.

“Life’s unfair! I can’t believe in this.” I felt my eyes watered in my eye. “Just why..” Spottedlight, Hawkleaves and Fernpaw rubbed my back. Which is made my cry turned into sad face.

“Peachkit…Don’t make your hope fall down, there will always a chance that it’s good.” Hawkleaves gave me an advice then i felt a whole smile at my face:

“Then we should go to the Mothermouth now, Isn’t it the time when the Fernpaw gets his medicine cat name?” I said to them, Then we walked to the Mothermouth…

“Spottedlight are you sure this is Mothermouth? It looks like a normal cave.” I asked to her, which that she nodded at me like ‘Yes’

“C-Can i come too?” Cyclone said with casual akward and probably over-protective voice…I never understand this tom, he’s so weird!

“Cyclone, this is only Peachkit and Fernpaw. Not you and Hawkleaves.” I can see that he was sad. I don’t know why…

“Hey Cyclone don’t worry. I am here at your side so we can company.” Wow…I bet Hawkleaves is a good friend to the elder tom..I understand why some she-cats and mollies fall for him.

Spottedlight give a signal to enter to Mothermouth and we entered the huge cave. To be honest it was boring until I saw a shining rock:

“Woah!” My eyes sparkled,The shining rock took my attention. While Fernpaw patted my shoulder, saying:

“Peachkit this is Moonstone. When you become apprentice you must know this stone. Every clan leaders take their lives at here. Medicine cats connects here with Starclan.” I shievered, i felt something touched me. . .

“W-What was that!” I got scared, Fernpaw looked at me and said,

“It was a spirit.” Fernpaw explained, “Don’t worry! They can’t hurt you.” I felt relaxed when Fernpaw said that they can’t hurt me.

“Ahh, i feel somehow relaxed!” I said to the tom, “Peachkit quit your muzzle for a second i am here to say Fernpaw’s medicine cat cerenomy.” I started to listen the she-cat…I knew that i wasn’t an apprentice, but it felt so much important to me.

“ I, Spottedlight, medicine cat of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help He will serve His Clan for many moons. Fernpaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?“

Woah…I felt somehow important if i become medicine cat apprentice, do i will have a cerenomy like that too…

“I do.” I felt like Fernpaw was lucky…I mean he is almost a Medicine cat now!

“Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Fernpaw, from this moment you will be known as Fernbee. StarClan honors your hardworking, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of Riverclan“ My eyes sparkled when i heard that finally Fernbee is a new Riverclan medicine cat.

“Peachkit. I hope you understand the herbs and the cerenomy we had with Fernpaw.” My eyes shocked and nodded at the tortoise-shell she-cat.

“Alright then let’s go..” Then we walked to the exit of Mothermouth, Cyclone greeted me like i wasn’t here for 7 moons.

“Oh my Peachkit! How are you?” Cyclone tried to hugging me, Seriously…What’s wrong with this large elder tom?

“G-Good!” I said to him, sadly he was hugging me tight so i couldn’t breath.

“Hey! I got my new medicine cat by the way. Its Fernbee!” Fernbee spoke at the background. I heard that Hawkleaves cherished him:

“Hey! Cyclone you’re going to kill Peachkit! Let him breathe for some seconds.” Finally Cyclone stopped hugging me. Then i remembered the whole warm fresh air. I breathed:

“Woah, I feel so much better…” I said with dizzy voice after i know everyone laughed at me. I got so confused and scared what happened at the Moonstone…I somehow felt dizzy and tired just because we walked too much or not.

“Come on everyone we should be back at the clan now,or unless others will get mad to us for bringing Cyclone and Peachkit.”

What was this all about? Am I in just a dream or n-not…Then i heard a small voice saying:

“Be careful to choices you make or you’ll just die from other clan cats.” The little unseen kit’s voice got me in confusion but instead:

“Hey…I guess there’s a kit here-”

“Huh a kit’s voice. Nevermind it. Its just your dream isn’t it Hawkleaves?” She asked to him…But i heard him! How Spottedlight or others didn’t see or heard him:

“Peachkit if i heard it then we’ll be stop and search the voice but i heard anything. Dear” Hawkleaves spoke like a how tom approaches to she or molly cats. But..How?

“Idiot! They can’t see me,” The little ghost kit hissed. “But you are the only one who can see me! Understood.” I nodded at the little kit spirit who was  at my back:

“But what do you want from me?” I asked quietly so the others would not think me as a mouse-brain.

“From you? Don’t make fun of me, I am just a Darkforest tom-kit that who lives in your negative side . When you grow up i’ll grow too but not large as you.” The little ghost kit explained

“Then what’s your name?” I asked to the little thing, but he tried to closed my muzzle with his unseen paw:

“Look,” He said, “I can’t give my name,” He meowed to me. What was that…He doesn’t give his name to me…That’s weird.

“But i know your name,” He said to my ear, “Peachkit. Isn’t it.” My eyes widened what he said:

“W-Wow..” It was so akward to say that he knows everything about me huh…Now what’ll i do
