so close yet so far…

Almost at 250 friends! heya, I’m Dio! Resident poet and blogger who owes yall a catmaid costume reveal… i said id do it two weeks ago but cannot for the life of me find a time to take a selfie without parents seeing ;;; apologies! i will keep trying tho, havnt forgot about yall lmao. 

My highschool has quarter terms, meaning that the school year is broken up into 4 different terms. Term 3 just ended yesterday, and the teachers have 3 more days to submit assignments, so I’m stressing to finish all my makeup and catch up on my work… had a medical crisis regarding a reaction to some medication earlier this term, so I had a lot of makeup to do. hoping I can get through it! 

Speaking of school, I have an April Vacation starting next Friday and going into the next week! its gonna be 10 days off of school, and I cannot wait! god, only have to hold out another 4 school days after tomorrow. It will be over before i know it tho, i think…

I’ve been working on a new song! I posted some older ones a while ago, but recently started thinking up some lyrics for a new one. I’ll definitely post it here on my blog when I’m done, although it usually takes me a while of revision until it sounds just right.

DnD! I keep forgetting to meet up with friends for DnD! im a lil bit frustrated with that because I’m pretty invested in the campaign… but one of our members is in the hospital, one quit and ghosted me and finally there is a new member for replacement and theres been like 3 weeks since our last session! Not sure if we will ever get to having another one… but hey, I still wanna finish my campaign!! If anyone here is a fan of DnD, a minor, and wants to play a game with me, dm me and perhaps ill see… not sure not sure, but maybe once my schedule clears… this is only for people with moderate experience tho, cuz i dont have the time to reexplain all the rules to new players (maybe ill make a blog post on that later~). If so and I continue the campaign, of course I will keep posting the updates on my blog! 

Gaming news, started playing this rougelite deckbuilder called Slay the Spire, and it is wayyy addictive. I love it so much, and have put an easy 18 hours into it over the course of a week and a half. It is a hell of a lot of fun, id give it a try for those who like cards and roguelikes! it takes some getting used to, but after a few runs and getting the hang of it boy is it fun. 

On the topic of card games, I’m a huge card game fan! Card and board games both! I never really talked about that here, but I actually like card/board games more than video games, believe it or not. With covid I havnt been able to play IRL in a while, but now that where I am people are relaxing outside more maybe I wll get the guys back together for a game or two. Some card/board games I’d suggest are The Binding of Isaac 4 Souls (watch the online tutorial), Pandemic, and Boss Monsters! if there are any card/board game fans who might see this, lemme know if you want a blog post diving into cards/board games!
