Thoughts on Chapter 4 Of Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer (Part 2 Pg. 92-104)

And we are still on chapter 4. This book is so boring and is taking forever. 

The Bad

Pg.92

Edward doesn’t like how possessive Mike Newron is of Bella. *Deep inhale* Edward, sweetie…I think now would be a great time for some self-reflection.

Pg. 93-98

Edward doesn’t want to bring Bella into his world because he doesn’t want to destroy her. What is so bad about his world? His family doesn’t eat humans, they have plenty of money, they will live forever and always look amazing. Maybe he doesn’t want to condemn her to a life of repeating high school forever. Now THAT I can understand.

Pg. 99

Bella has issues and needs thearapy. She assumes Edward regrets saving her life. So her thought process is because Edward is rude to her, he regrets saving her life. That’s a big leap in logic. 

Pg. 100-103

A bunch of guys simping for Bella and Bella rejecting them. Bella is totally living the dream. /s

 The Good

Pg. 104

Alice is adorable with how excited she is to talk to Bella. Every other character simping over Bella makes it annoying and awkward. Not Alice. Alice is so genuine and sweet and wants a friend. Alice is the best Cullen. 

Overall Thoughts

This book is so painful and slow and boring and hard to get through. I’m determined to finish it though! Chapter 4 is so long. I'm going to need to have a part 3.
