Falling in love with you felt graceful , beautiful and timeless but the landing was harsh and ugly . It left me with cuts that I hope fade into little , barely noticeable scars . The feeling of peace turned to an endless panic of you loss .
I fell in love with YOU but I didn’t fall in love WITH you . It wasn’t mutual . It wasn’t us together . It was me , alone , rereading the out of context messages that had shaped you into the person I wanted to love so desperately.
No matter the scars that will be left behind , I will always be willing to rip them apart to feel that “love” that you once made me feel .
