Comforting a friend,, how? :(

So I believe one of my best friend had a one-sided love,, and she was so dry the whole day or two,, and I want to try maybe like,, comforting her,, but I don't think she knows abt me knowing,, any tips to be discreet while comforting? Any would be good! - (o~°)
