The past year has been rough for people in my town. (Well it has for everyone ig) We've had multiple teens take their lives or pass in car accidents over the last year so I decided this year I should spread some positivity.
Usually my foundation focuses on Homeless Outreach, but this October I'm hosting an art contest instead. Titled the Starving Artist Contest, 20 Students (5 From Each Grade) Will Be Given Half An Hour To Create A Painting. Out Of Those 20, 4 Will Be Selected To Compete In The Final Round.
In The Final Round The 4 Winners Of The Last Round Will Be Given An Hour To Paint A "Masterpiece."
First Place: $50 Visa Gift Card to spend anywhere and a special prize.
Second Place: $30 Gidt Card To Babes On Plum (Local Resturant)
Third & Fourth Place: 2 Free Meal Vouchers for Eats On The Street (Resturant Next Town Over)
The Special Prize is a brand new art kit, but the students don't get to know that till the end.
This is going to cost me almost $700 out of pocket to do so that's always fun. This is part of why I'm broke all the time lmao.
