A word to the wise if you're going to express hatred pertaining to a particular group (bulletin repost)

To be clear I'm not pointing fingers at anyone in particular. However I'd like to state a word to the wise; I would make a clear distinction rather than a hasty sweeping generalization. Otherwise it might come across as prejudice to some people. There are always exceptions to the rule. For example:  John gets cut off several times by people in blue cars and comes to the conclusion that all people who drive blue cars are assholes. When in reality that is only a very small percentage of the total amount of blue car drivers. John then feels compelled to publicly display his contempt for blue car drivers. Charlie who is friends with many blue car drivers who are genuine sweet hearts witnesses John's hateful statements and finds it unfounded and prejudice. Looking back something they both could potentially agree on might be that some blue car drivers are jerks and others are nice. In conclusion just be careful and take this into consideration before expressing hatred in the heat of the moment. Hatred can make you blind to the full spectrum of things.
