The Biology Trip

Once we arrived, we had to wade through knee deep, murky water with rocks, we couldn't see the rocks in the water so we had to try and not trip, also one of the boys had lifted the legs to his shorts up, so he looked like he was only wearing his pants/ underwear. We went around this area of dry mud and measured the diameter of worm casts. We then headed back to the minibus and drove to another area with plants and little streams, we measured worm casts in a small but extremely sticky mud area, and I got stuck. One of the teachers had to help me out of the mud and I almost lost my shoes. XD

After that we then looked at the plants in the area which was a bit of a bore. We then headed back to the minibus and went back to the original spot that we were in and ate our lunch (well I had some snacks but they were unfortunately soaked by the rain on the way to school). After that we waded back through the water again. We looked at plants in this area too and I got stuck in mud again. 

We also had a look at some quick sand, several people went into the quick sand which was about waist deep. And some people went and sat or swam in the knee deep water area, on our way back to the minibus. On my way back, I picked a rather stupid path, because I got stuck... again. I apparently seem to have a thing for getting stuck ;-; when I pulled one of my legs, I half fell into the mud, so my knees got covered in mud. 

I went to the bathroom to clean myself up and change. When one of the boys was getting change, he kept waving at people as they were driving past, because he couldn't be bothered to wait for whoever was in the bathroom, so just got changed in the carpark. Luckily someone was stood in front of him hiding him behind a towel, I think, I didn't see, by this point I was sat waiting in the minibus because I wanted to go home XD Eventually everyone piled back into the minibus and we went back to the school. 

I thought the trip was okay, but I didn't want to do it again. Also me getting stuck is probably now going to be a running joke in my family and possibly friend group XD
