I've been writing sonnggggsss

anyways, besides the sappy shit (well deserved), I've been working with an older bro to write some songs. I'm a big storyteller and poet... used to play as a DM for DnD with friends, been writing poetry since I was literally 3. Probably going to sort through my folders and try to find a pic of that so I can embarrass myself. Shell Silverstien was goated, rip that guy. ...Actually I hope he wasn't controversial, i just liked his works... ;-;

anyhow, (i get off track WAY too easily) I like poetry and writing and stuff, and like to think I have a pretty broad musical taste. So much, way too much music, have I over-fixated and then dropped over the years. My bro is kinda a metal elitist (lov you bro but its true <3), and if it isnt by Metallica or one of his favorite bands he often calls it garbage jokingly. I don't usually share my musical tastes with him, but I guess something these days has lit my creative juices on fire because my brain can't stop thinking about stories and songs and all sorts of stuff. Probably the fact that I asked someone out on Valentine's Day and im just overall leaving this depressive slump I've found myself stuck in for the longest time, but I digress. Its just a lot of fun letting this hobby take a little rent in the back of my brain. I'll get a cool idea, write a few lines, and then finish them in a spare study or lunch. Its exhilerating, and I'm really greatful for the support my bro is giving me. Even tho its nothing like his music, he still respects me and wants to share this moment with me. Major credit to him, ily bro even when we fight <3. 

anyhow. I have two songs: an anti-love song, and an edgy provocative mess. I dont like to swear in my songs, so their clean, but I havn't got them fully fleshed out. If I'm still enjoying them, I'll make sure to post the finished products here for fun.

they sound a bit edgy and dramatic, but I kinda like how my spin on them breaks the normative rock mold that I've constantly heard. A bit punky imo, not perfect but fun. I tried my best... but idk im really happy with how they turned out. If you want to give cridicism be my guest, my vibe might not be worth your time if you write a scathing review tho. Wait, who am I kidding? you guys are great :) Enjoy your days <3
