- 4/11/21 -  Today I went pondering , down the broken road , to where we used to lay. You weren't a lover but a distant memory , more like a friend. I looked over at the log by the river , I sat down just like I did almost a year prior, while you shouted in my fragile face. I snapped out of my memory and back into my reality. Sitting there while my parents had no clue what was going on in my head, I held the thoughts back with a smile , treading behind them , looking for mushrooms.
