no one seems to be open to anything more than a shallow friendship these days. or maybe it's me. or maybe it's my age bracket. i guess i'm used to being extremely close when i have a best friend, but last time that bit me in the ass so it's probably for the better.
do you guys not feel lonely with no one to truly share yourself with? is this a me problem?

yeah it can get pretty lonely lol. i think in part i’m apart of the issue since i haven’t be very social until recently, but also not everyone is so open to friendship or know what to say either. it’s difficult when you really want that closeness with someone but it’s better to wait and keep making friends i guess

I don't think it's a you problem. It's just really difficult to take a friendship to "the next level" especially as a guy.
