Dermatology appointment happened today

I officially no longer have that suspicious-looking spot on my back I was kinda worried about! I probably never mentioned it here, but it was a spot on my back/near my right shoulder that had a dark ring around the outside and some weird blotchy shades in the middle. It got removed today and will be sent for a biopsy just to see if it's anything bad or just a funky mole.

The most painful part of the process was honestly the doctor pinching the area around it. They gave me some local anesthetics, and even that didn't hurt a whole lot.

There was a weird part at the end though where he used some kind of tool (no clue what, I was looking away), and afterwards the room smelled like tortilla chips. Like a bag of Fritos. Very odd.

From what they told me, I won't be limited to doing normal everyday things, but I have to make sure to keep Vaseline and a bandage over the wound until it heals up. From what I read online, I should clean it after the first 24 hours and change the bandage once a day.
