TayTay is releasing evermore, her sequel to folklore, and I have a confession to make.
To be honest with y'all, I was quite dismissive of her music, even as I was diving into the world of Scandipop (Scandinavian pop). It was just too bubblegum for my taste.
Then 2020 happened, Taylor found herself in lockdown, and created a wonder. A guy like me who has loved indie since the MySpace days, has been a fan of Sufjan Stevens, Bowerbirds, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Bon Iver, and a bunch of others on labels like Jagjaguwar, Dead Oceans, Secretly Canadian, Asthmatic Kitty, Saddle Creek, Sounds Familyre, read Paste Magazine like scripture, I felt called to give it a listen.
It felt like a warm hug, under a warm blanket, while sipping a warm forest spice tea.
I'm excited what the new album will bring.

I've really loved her music from the start, and I agree, this latest album is amazing!!
