Classes soon

I'm finally all moved into my dorm!!! I legit can't believe it. I actually love my dorm more than I thought I would. The layout is actually pretty spacious and me and my roommate get along very well. Just yesterday we drove into downtown Houston to go see a pretty sick metal show. It was the last 10 bucks of cash I had but whatever. The show was lit. As for my actual campus, I'm not too sure how to feel yet. I chose an HBCU because I wanted to feel more connected to my people and my culture, but so far I don't think I've found those people yet. I mean I do obviously still have to give the year some time lol. Other than my roomie, I've met two other girls that are actually pretty similar to me. And we share similar feelings and opinions about the school and some of the people here. I have been thinking about transferring out of state after this year though and I know I'll need some killer essay ideas, I just don't know of what yet. Anyways, Monday is the first day of official classes. There's only one class on my schedule that I don't want but who knows, it might be good for me. I/O Psychology was not at all on my wanted list of classes but my advisor (who I'm convinced doesn't like me) put me in it anyways. Gotta wait until spring for it to change ig.
