LMAOO Cyclosporiasis

As a Canadian, I thought it was really really funny that gut health in the United States is so bad that they're having trouble tracking how many people have been affected by cyclosporiasis. I spent a whole night talking crap about how Americans are so regularly pooping themselves that they don't know whether they have a parasite or not.

And then, as if struck by a curse, my giggles abruptly turned into shits.

I was hit with an IBS episode.

As I sat on the toilet, plagued by constipation and then subsequently diarrhea, followed by more constipation and then more diarrhea for hours at a time, I had a realization. I am no better than a poopy poopy American. I wouldn't know either. I could have a cyclosporiasis infection RIGHT now and my bowel movements would be just as regular as always. 

So all this is to say, I'm sorry Americans. I spoke too soon. I hope you find the source (of the cyclosporiasis, but also of your horrible nation wide gut health epidemic) and have it promptly irradicated!
