My mom has the brainrot

We passed a Barnes & Noble yesterday & my mom teased me about how I’d usually beg to go in. I said that I’m not going to B&N because of them supposedly selling books that were ‘written’ by AI. She compared me to my luddite father. Pissed me off. Stupid boomers, loving AI. It’s especially fucked because she’s been a teacher for 30+ years. She didn’t think that the concept of these books was fucked up like I do. It doesn’t make me at all like my dad to care about stories written by humans.
