i'm currently in bed listening to a police helicopter fly directly above the house in circles and lots of sirens passing by. beautiful los angeles asmr. all we need now is random scattered gunshots and yelling. so peaceful.

yesterday my fiancé and i went to his grandma's house and used the pool in her condo (meant for the condo residents but we know a guy who knows a guy, yeah?). it was a ton of fun. we spent most of the time splashing each other and swimming back and forth under the water. 22 years old and playing in da pool. GET A JOB !!

after we swam we sunbathed a bit and i ended up burning on my back and a little on my chest. oh well, at least it'll turn into a tan after i peel like a molting lizard (gross, sorry). once we got nice and crispy we took the short walk back to nathan's grandma's house only to find she had company over. some friend of a friend in nathan's family. it was really awkward and they kept laughing about memories that i didn't know and nathan didn't remember. we just stood there awkwardly laughing and nodding along until they left. we ordered sandwiches and took it easy before booking it so we didn't have to interact with people anymore.

this morning i woke up feeling really weird. very irritable and tired. my body ached, probably from swimming. god am i that old already? put me in a retirement home. we had to go to the post office to drop off some stuff i sold on depop so i can get my money in. i can't wait. it's a little over 100 bucks and i plan on using it to get my eyebrow and nostril pierced. i'll look so swag but i'm such a baby when it comes to piercings/pain. i guess it hurts to be cool. i may post a picture of it when i do it, but only maybe. not sure i'm ready for a face reveal yet, lol.
