Countdown to cataract surgery

5 days, and counting, to cataract surgery. The left eye gets done first, since it's the worst of the 2. 2 weeks later, the right eye gets done. It'll be interesting to find out if I can see any better. I probably will, although there will be a chance that I still might need glasses for reading, or a much weaker prescription to see distances. Time will tell.
