should i trade or return?

okay so i bought a nintendo switch lite almost a year ago, i regret getting that one because i got it in light of the moment instead of saving up for the regular switch

i just bought a bunch of things on amazon that said they were lite compatible, but they aren't.

so now i'm torn between finally trading the lite in for a regular switch, or trying to return most of the things i bought for the switch

and if i choose to trade it in, where is the best place to do it? i've been ripped off by the eb games near my house, and the gamestop is not the most trustworthy.

there's always the eb games in the mall, and different gamestop locations, but i have no clue where the best place to go would be

any advice?
