Horrible neighbour threw a stone at me. Now he’s been arrested

When I came home from school today my horrible neighbour was in his garden. He was just stood there glaring at me. He made some snide remark about how innocent I looked in my school uniform and how deceptive appearances can be. I told him to just go away and leave me alone. He said “Don’t you backchat me you little runt”. He then picked up a stone and threw it at me. The stone struck me in the face causing my cheek to bleed. I went in and told my mom what had happened. My mom phoned the police who came and, after they spoke to me, they went round to his house and arrested him.

I’m not badly hurt but I’m very shaken up by what happened. I’ve literally been shaking since it happened. I’m already dealing with trauma and I don’t think this incident has done anything to help. This is how the man who calls me “a bad kid “ behaves. He throws stones at minors and doesn’t see himself as bad. Talk about twisted thinking.

Lol. I’m actually American but I do live in England. Technically I am actually half British because my mom is actually from England.

Maybe it’s because I’ve lived nearly a year in England now and I’m finally getting used to writing and spelling the British way. It could also because I have been raised more by my mom than by my dad. My mom is British so it’s probably down to that.

I wish my English teacher saw my writing like you do. She’s always on at me about how I keep reverting to the American spelling of words.
