I made friends and stuff, but people here can be so mean for some reason. Like everytime I'm discussing a topic with peers about an answer some people can be so weird. There's always that one dude thats like 'ughh why would you think that? thats so odd' or smth on the line of it. So many people get so smug so often to try and knock you down a peg. Like I was discussing answers for an exam with one guy and everytime i explained how I got mine he'd try so hard to make every point I made sound outrageous. It's like you can't even talk to these people without them looking for criticism. Don't get me started on group work, people just don't do shit.
I keep getting stuck with people that will literally look at instructions and be like ' so what do they want us to do?' and then they'll ask me 10 questions about stuff written on the instructions. It makes me depressed to deal with the environment constantly.

Don't take it to heart. College is the first time a lot of people have contact with the outside world and it will make them a bit insecure at first. They're just lashing out.
Try to find people you get along with. Obviously don't put yourself in an echo chamber but make sure you have a group you can relax around.

i just feel hopeless sometimes cause I'm stressed enough working with my own abilities and then I have to work with theirs as well. thank you though
